Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• You can now offer time slots for Shipping. To get started, take a look at our Configuring shipping slots guide.

• A warning banner now appears when your delivery settings exceed Shopify's storage limit, which can otherwise cause rates to display incorrectly. Take a look at our rates capacity guide for more information.

• Opening an order from the slot limit report now closes the report automatically and opens the order as expected.

• The delivery note field in the checkout widget now displays the default note as a placeholder instead of pre-filling the field.

• When using delivery validation by city name, adding the city dropdown script no longer stops the calendar from displaying.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• Placeholder text has been added across the Exception, Location, and Rate name fields, giving you a clearer idea of what to enter in each one.

Zapiet Eats

• Product option values from OPTIS Product Options now display correctly on Eats orders, preventing add-ons with a fee from appearing blank.

Improvements

• AI setup has landed! You can now create your delivery rates and settings by describing your requirements in plain language. Choose AI setup from the Dashboard or Locations page, preview of the changes before they're applied, and reopen previous conversations at any time.

• Page titles and primary actions are now integrated into the Shopify admin top bar, creating a cleaner layout.

• Empty states across the app have been updated with our new logo for a more consistent look.

Bug fixes

• The currency symbol on the Exceptions settings page now displays consistently with the rest of the app.

Improvements

• You can now set a word limit on text field and large text field options.

• A "Select all" function has been added when applying options to option groups, making it faster to apply an option across every group at once.

Bug fixes

• The Edit Options modal now displays correctly above other page elements on the "Atelier" theme, fixing a layering issue that could leave it partially hidden.

• Image swatch selections that update the product image without an additional charge are now saved correctly on Shopify Plus stores.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• The dashboard now shows a sample sales graph when you have no orders, giving you a preview of the insights available once orders start coming in.

• Previously, when rearranging the delivery methods in Settings > Appearance > Sort order, one of them could disappear. This has been fixed, and all delivery methods now display correctly.

• The date and time fields in the Edit order modal in Shopify have been improved on smaller screens, making it easier to select dates on mobile.

• Delivery dates for Appstle subscription orders now follow your store's timezone, ensuring recurring orders use the correct next delivery date.

• Delivery order notes entered in the checkout widget are now captured in full, preventing typing issues and ensuring notes are saved correctly.

Zapiet Eats

• A new product option bundle type lets you create a single set of choices and reuse it across multiple products in your menu, without creating separate products in Shopify.

• When scheduling draft orders, same-day delivery slots are now available whenever time remains in the day.

Zapiet - Product Options

• Missing translations have been added for degraded performance notifications.

Improvements

• The new AI Setup Wizard has landed! When configuring your product options you can now choose between the manual setup you already know or a guided, conversational wizard. Describe what you need and the wizard builds the option set, price add-ons, and visibility rules for you.

• You can now add Product Options to upselling or promotional modals for multiple products on the same page. Contact our team to have this feature enabled on your store.

Bug fixes

• When using Point of Sale, add-on fees are not applied to custom sales, and this could previously trigger an error in Shopify's checkout rules. This has been corrected, so fees are now skipped on custom sales while still applying to normal products.

Improvements

• You can now create and schedule orders directly from Shopify POS using the new Schedule order tile, so staff can take orders for the location they're signed in to.

• A search bar has been added to the Draft Orders widget, making it quicker to find the right location.

• Receipts printed from POS receipt printer have been redesigned with improved spacing and formatting.

• The Plans page has been redesigned with a more compact layout and clearer plan labels.

Bug fixes

• Choice bundle orders now display correctly when viewing an order in POS, resolving missing products, stray surcharge lines, and internal labels that could appear on the order and printed receipt.

• The Unpaid badge now appears as expected on orders in the Kanban board order view.

• Payment status now displays the correct label for cancelled and declined orders, instead of incorrectly showing as Paid.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• You can now hide the postcode field in the product page widget when delivery validation is set to "No validation", showing customers the availability of your default pickup or delivery location straight away. This can be enabled in Settings > Developers > Online store.

• ⁠The dashboard has a cleaner layout and smoother loading experience.

• Stores without an active plan are now redirected straight to the Plans page and navigation items stay hidden until a plan is selected.

• The Support page now loads correctly instead of showing a blank screen.

Zapiet Eats

• The Google Maps API key field no longer blocks merchants from selecting a plan before setup is complete.

• An issue where some subscription prices were not displayed correctly on the Plans page has been fixed.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• Rates by Distance now integrates with Shopify Sidekick, so you can search your settings and take common actions without leaving Sidekick.

• Discarding changes or returning to your initial settings now keeps you within the settings flow instead of sending you back to the previous page.

• Editing and saving a rate's price multiple times no longer creates duplicate rates.

Zapiet - Rates by Zipcode

• Rates by Zipcode now integrates with Shopify Sidekick, letting you find settings and take actions directly from Sidekick.

• You can now apply the same rates across multiple shipping profiles, and they will no longer be removed when you save.

Improvements

• You can now make the apartment or unit field required at checkout, ensuring the full delivery address is always entered. This option appears in Settings > Widget settings when "Show apartment unit field for delivery" is enabled.

• New installs can now place up to 10 test orders before a plan is selected, so agencies and developers setting up a store can trial the full order management and printing flow before handing it over. Once 10 orders have been placed, checkout locks until a plan is activated.

Bug fixes

• Shopify Sidekick now consistently uses the correct "Location" terminology.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• The dashboard has been redesigned to put your statistics and graphs front and centre. The setup guide has been simplified, banners can be dismissed unless they require your attention, and a new feature card highlights useful settings.

• A new setting lets you correct the fulfilment location in Shopify when the order is created, rather when it is marked as fulfilled. You can find it in your pickup and delivery settings, in the Order processing section.

• Merchants using rates with carrier-calculated shipping can now set different rates based on customer tags.

• The SMS usage banner no longer appears for stores that do not use SMS notifications, preventing unnecessary warnings.

• An issue where a comma entered in a rate value instead of a full stop could cause issues generating rates has been resolved, and rates are now handled correctly whichever decimal separator is used.

• We've fixed an issue where some stores could unexpectedly find their widget had stopped working or be prompted to select a plan again.

Zapiet Eats

• You can now display a badge on unpaid orders in the order summary, which is automatically removed when an order is marked as paid. The feature is disabled by default and can be enabled in Settings > Developers.

• Printed orders now include the payment status.

• Menu sections can now be shown as horizontal buttons on the order page instead of a dropdown, with each button displaying the menu name and its available times. You can find this option in Settings > Widget settings > Menu selector style.

• A "Select All" option has been added back to the location export feature.

• Restaurant on the Ordering page no longer show a "no published menu" message when a menu is viewed outside its scheduled hours. The menu now loads correctly and its opening hours are shown instead.

• Apartment, suite, and unit details entered in the widget are now carried through to checkout when customers choose their own delivery location, preventing an issue with incomplete delivery addresses.

• We've fixed an issue where the widget location search could briefly flicker before showing validation messages.

Improvements

• The Orders page has been updated to improve readability. Completed orders now use a simplified layout, making it easier to scan past old orders while keeping detailed information available for open orders.

• Zapiet Eats now supports Shopify Sidekick, helping merchants quickly find settings and information within the app.

• Restaurants have been renamed to Locations throughout the app to better support a wider range of businesses.

• You can now drag and drop products between menu sections. Previously, moving a product meant removing it and adding it again. Now you can drag an item over another section, which expands so you can drop it in and save.

• When printing an order, customisation and add-on fees are now combined into the order total rather than shown as a separate item customisation line, giving a clearer single total on your printed tickets.

Bug fixes

• The order notification toggle now stays enabled after the page is refreshed.

• Customer detail labels on the legacy widget are no longer clipped at the top when a field is focused or filled in.
