Week 45 • Pickup map styling, security improvements and general bug fixes

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• You can now style the pickup locations map to match your brand from the new Map card in Settings > Appearance. Choose a preset or custom map style, set your pin colours and icon (or upload your own SVG pin), and choose which map controls customers see. These settings are only available on the latest version of the cart widget.

• Editing an order's pickup or delivery details from the Orders page in the app now works the same way as editing it from the Shopify order page. Hidden date and time fields no longer clear the order's schedule when you save another change, and the pop-up now follows the Show all fields in the edit/add details order modal setting in Settings > Developers.

• The Add a Storefront API key card has moved from the dashboard to your pickup settings, so it sits alongside the rest of your pickup map setup.

• When the app restores an order’s pickup or delivery details, the time in the order attributes now uses the same 12-hour format as your other orders. Previously, these orders showed the time with a leading zero, making order data harder to sort, filter and export.

• We've strengthened the checks that keep each store's data separate, so order locations and Shopify POS customer lookups are always tied to your own store, and your plan's location allowance can only be set by your plan.

Zapiet - Product Options

• Colour and image swatches in dropdowns on the classic storefront options block are now built more securely, and swatch colours are checked before they're saved.

• Redirects when the app opens outside the Shopify admin are now checked more strictly, so you're only ever sent to a trusted address.

• We've told Shopify exactly which services the app connects to, helping Shopify protect your store and spot unexpected requests.

Zapiet - Rates by Zipcode

• Duplicate postcode reports from zone imports can now only be downloaded by the store that created them.

• If your Rates by Zipcode account is included free with Pickup + Delivery, the connection between the two apps that keeps your plans in sync is now more secure.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• We now detect sudden, unusual spikes in rate requests and slow them down automatically, so unexpected traffic doesn't add to your usage.

• We've told Shopify exactly which services the app connects to, helping Shopify protect your store and spot unexpected requests.
