Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Our checkout widget had an issue where it could be bypassed, allowing orders to be processed without our attributes. We have swiftly patched this bug.
• The UI issue that was preventing the creation of pickup and delivery rates in the rates setup guide has been resolved.
• Some orders couldn't be opened in the app due to a lack of support for special characters in the order numbers. We have upgraded our system to support these special characters.
• The delivery validator widget was not translating into secondary languages for stores using multiple languages. Our team has resolved this issue.

Zapiet Eats ‑ Restaurants

• We are pleased to announce the successful release of the Zapiet Eats - Restaurants POS tile!
• Our team has also resolved the issue where Restaurants > Menus > Menu schedule availability settings were not saved correctly.
• The "Use current location" option for Pickup in our widget did not work as expected, as the "No results found" message did not appear when no locations were found, causing customer confusion. This issue has now been resolved.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• We've added a banner to the Shopify checkout customization page to inform merchants about the required Zapiet plan (Pro) for using the checkout widget.

• SMS notifications are currently unavailable for US merchants. To highlight this limitation, we've added a warning banner within the app.

• The Last mile delivery page has been redesigned with a shorter location list for easier country searches.

Checkout widget

• Custom pickup slots were previously only available for our cart widget. Now, they can also be used with our checkout widget!

• You can now use the delivery validator as an app block, and then it will be compatible with the checkout widget.

Improvements

• Your store can now use multiple shipping origins with Zapiet rates in Shopify.

• Product availability selection has been expanded to include automated collections, in addition to manual ones.

• Delivery validator widget can now be added as an app block within your theme settings.

• Searching on the locations page has been improved as you can now search your Zapiet locations by using the location ID.

• Order dashboard date filtering has been enhanced. To display orders for a specific date, you now only need to select the start date.

• Previously, when selecting more than 20 orders, only “20+” would be displayed in the app. We now show the exact number of selected orders.

• The Product availability section of the app has been visually enhanced. A trash icon is now consistently displayed next to added products for easier removal.

• Our POS app is snappier than ever with newly implemented speed improvements. We have also enhanced the Filter order page which now includes a calendar instead of the date list.

• The Order charges subscription page was updated to show the date the charge was created on, instead of the date of the last invoice.

• The app is now fully compatible with the Vitals: Reviews, Bundles (40+) app.

• The app dashboard has been updated to accurately display relevant information and the setup guide.

Bug fixes

• Previously, when a delivery time slot started at midnight (0:00), no timeslot would be displayed in the Zapiet single order view. Now, the midnight timeslot is correctly showing in Zapiet orders.

• Subscribing to the RSS feed was not working properly within our changelog. The feature now works as expected.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• We’ve fixed an issue where the page would go blank when you set up product availability by specific products or collections.
• Since the old Klaviyo API key was deprecated, we’ve updated our integration with a new API key.
• We’ve resolved a translation issue, so now the days of the week will display correctly in your language when limiting the number of delivery orders per day.
• When you try to use Exportify, Order Printer Pro or OrderlyPrint within the Orders page, you will need to first enable those integrations to confirm those apps are installed on your store.
• We’ve fixed an issue related to the Shopify inventory integration, and we will now respect when “Continue selling when out of stock” setting is enabled on a product.
• For merchants in the US, we’ve updated the sender number for SMS notifications to a Canadian one to avoid issues with international numbers.

Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code

• We’ve significantly improved the loading speed of delivery zones!

We have released a new version of Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code! It doesn't require the Shopify Carrier Service API, so it's available on all Shopify plans.

This version is available for our new merchants by default. If you're an existing merchant and would like to switch to this version, please contact our support in the chat widget!

Other updates:

• The issue preventing older zones from opening has been resolved.
• For easier access, we added links to the help articles directly to the "Settings" and "Zones and rates" pages.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Pickup orders made through our checkout widget were showing shipping attributes. Our team has resolved this issue, and the correct attributes are now displayed for pickup orders.
• A bug was causing orders to be deselected when the order status was updated. We have silenced this bug, so the selected orders now remain selected between status updates.
• We have fixed the issue where removing locations in our app caused default rates to stop working.

Zapiet - Product Rates

• Previously, you had to manually remove all products or collections before switching the product availability method. We have streamlined this process, allowing you to change the product availability on the fly!
• Variant description wording will only show for products with variants.
• When adding specific products, the bin icon was only displayed when hovering over the product. For better visibility, the bin icon is now always displayed for specific products.

• We've implemented various design improvements.
• Adjusting the order total in Shopify now also updates the order total in our app.
• Our app name in Shopify admin has been changed to Zapiet Pick+Delivery.
• An issue where not all pickup locations were displayed in the checkout widget has been resolved.
• Previously, delivery slot order limits did not update when an order was edited. The slot limit report failed to show updated orders and the calendar did not hide days where the slot limit was reached. These issues have been fixed.
• Uniform wording can now be used for both the cart and the checkout widget. All relevant text can be modified in Settings > Text and Design.
• An issue where rates were not added to the Shopify shipping profile in case of synchronization errors has been fixed.
• In the Setup wizard, default rates were being created as location-specific rates. This issue has been resolved.

Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code

• We've made some improvements to ensure the app operates more smoothly.
• We corrected an issue where reports on the dashboard only displayed data for one day. Now, the reports show data for the past seven days.

• A fix has been made for the bug where only the active app window was dimmed while the ‘Enter security code’ modal was active. Now, the entire page is dimmed when the modal is opened.

• An issue where our checkout widget removed note attributes from other apps has been resolved.

• Disruption to orders being sent to Roadie has been resolved with all orders now flowing as expected.

• Merchants using an outdated version of our widget can now update to the latest version of the app using a self-service button on a banner added to the dashboard.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• We’ve fixed the issue where an error message was missing from our checkout extension widget when the minimum order value condition was not met. The correct error message now appears on the widget.

Zapiet - Product Rates

• The issue where surcharges were not being applied to the rate for automatic collections has been resolved. Rates will now correctly display surcharge values for automatic collections.

• You can now skip the setup guide and reopen it later when you're ready to complete the setup.
• Our app will display an error message if a required field is empty, rather than disabling the save button.
• We've given a fresh new look to our support page.
