Improvements

• We've added support for Shopify's App Bridge Contextual Save Bar on the pages where we can create or edit an option. Now, if you try to leave with unsaved changes, you’ll get a reminder, helping you to avoid losing any work.

Bug fixes

• We fixed a bug where reopening an option after navigating back to its option group caused the values and advanced settings to disappear. Everything now shows up properly without needing a refresh.

• Opening an option and returning to the option group without editing no longer hides the other options. Everything now loads as expected right away.

• Previously, typing Chinese characters into the 'Large text box' option on POS would only save the first character entered. This has now been resolved and all characters are saved.

Improvements

• You’ll now find a detailed breakdown of your usage charges on the Subscription page under Settings, including daily Google Maps usage and order totals.

• Our Shopify POS tile has been updated to the latest Shopify version for improved stability.

Bug fixes

• Searching for a staff member that doesn’t exist no longer causes the search field to disappear. The search bar will now remain visible so you can try again.

• There was a display issue where the pickup distance was missing the measurement unit. This is now resolved and the miles or kilometres will now show correctly.

• We fixed a formatting issue with short-distance pickups, so distances under one kilometre now appear as expected.

• Previously, customers outside your time zone might have seen timeslots that had already passed. This has been fixed, and they’ll now see available dates and times based on your restaurant’s time zone.

• Updating a menu name now also updates the menu title in your storefront.

• When manually accepting orders, the 'Delay order' and 'Cancel order' buttons in the new order modal now correctly update the order status.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Some stores that were on an older version of our widget experienced an issue where the widget would not load on the cart page. This has been fixed, but if your store was affected, please contact us to be updated to our latest version! If you're not sure which version you're on, please check our help guide for more information.

• Stores that do not have access to Shopify's Carrier-calculated shipping rates feature will be automatically moved to our Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates mode, to prevent confusion and a blank rates page.

• An issue affecting the 'Send test' and 'Preview template' buttons in Email Notifications has been resolved. You’ll now see the correct preview and can send test emails without any errors.

Zapiet Eats

• We’ve updated the design of our internal emails for a cleaner look and better dark mode compatibility. These emails will now come from [email protected].

• The customer information for draft orders will now contain the customers phone number.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

Zapiet - Product Options

• Previously, there an issue where non-required textboxes with character limits were preventing products from being added to the cart, unless they were filled in. This has now been resolved, and products will add to cart as expected.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• New week, new integration! We're thrilled to announce we now integrate with Awtomic Subscriptions. With our date incrementation feature, you can ensure your customers receive their subscription orders on time, all the time. Learn more in our help article.

• We’ve fixed a bug where our order fulfilment feature would still trigger even when your Shopify locations weren’t connected. This has now been resolved and orders will only be fulfilled once your Shopify locations are correctly linked to your Zapiet locations.

• Available pickup slots weren't always being calculated correctly when pickup slot limits were enabled. This has been fixed and your timeslots will now accurately reflect your settings.

Zapiet Eats

• Printed receipts now include the full delivery address, instead of just the street address.

• There is now an open order count included in your restaurant order and draft order tabs, allowing you to track your remaining orders at a glance. We’ve also added a white background to the Orders and Draft Orders tabs to improve visibility.

Zapiet - Product Options

• If a multi-option option was set to have a minimum number of selections, the POS tile would prevent further choices once the minimum was reached. You can now select additional options as intended.

• New installs are now added to our free plan by default. Once you hit 20+ orders in one month, you will be prompted to move to our paid plan.

We've made some major improvements to our dropdown options, snuck in a new feature and squashed a lot of bugs!

Improvements

• Need multiple options with the same name? You can now use internal names, so customer-facing option names can be reused across different products.

• We’ve added scroll support to dropdowns, making it easier to browse long lists of options on your product page.

• Dropdowns now include a search bar, making it quicker for customers to find the right option. They also support multiple selections, giving customers more flexibility.

Bug fixes

• We’ve fixed a validation issue where optional swatch or checkbox options with 'Allow multiple selections' enabled and a minimum value of 0 were incorrectly showing an error on the product page. Customers can now add products to cart without selecting a value, as expected.

• Files added on the product page will now remain in place when you edit the item in the cart with no need to re-upload.

• We’ve fixed an issue where using 'Select all 10+ items' when adding options to groups only selected the current page. Bulk selecting now correctly includes all items across pages.

• Missing required fields weren’t always triggering an error message. This has been resolved, and customers will now be clearly notified when a required field has been left empty.

• Previously when the same product was added to the cart with different options, all options were combined on one product instead of showing them separately. This has now been fixed, and each product in the cart will display only its selected options.

• We fixed some padding inconsistencies in the ‘Add option groups’ modal, so the text now appears as intended.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• We’ve fixed an issue where the delivery validator widget wasn’t responding to two-character postal codes.

• The Checkout widget has been optimised for faster performance, with quicker initial loading and smoother method switching.

• We’ve resolved a conflict between custom pickup slots and preparation time settings where pickup was unavailable if the preparation time prevented same-day pickup. This only happened on certain days of the week, and has now been fixed so you can set your preparation time to any value.

• Our Orkestro integration has been updated, so the pickup phone number now always includes the “+” in the area code format, preventing any order errors.

• There was an issue where the View Order tile in Shopify POS showed a “Failed to fetch order” error when opening any order. This has now been resolved and orders are loading as expected.

Zapiet Eats

• The 'Tag items based on menu section' setting in Text & Design was not working correctly for existing menus. We have resolved this issue and now all products will be correctly tagged.

• We’ve fixed an issue where updates to 'Today’s inventory' weren’t being saved. Changes will now be applied correctly.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• When creating a new location, the location fields were showing up blank and couldn’t be edited. This has now been fixed, and you can add new locations without any issues.

• The error messages for the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery integration have been re-worded for improved clarity.

• We've added support for Shopify's App Bridge Contextual Save Bar on our Option pages in the Settings tab. Now, if you try to leave without saving, you’ll get a helpful reminder, so you won’t lose any changes by accident.

Improvements

• We've added support for Shopify's App Bridge Contextual Save Bar on the majority of our app pages with form inputs. This means you'll now get a reminder if you try to leave a page with unsaved changes, helping prevent accidental loss and making setup smoother and more reliable.

• Smarter pickup location filters are here! Along with province, state or region, you can now filter by your store's custom attributes, giving you more freedom to personalise your filters. Countries without Shopify region fields will only have the option to filter by custom attribute, eliminating confusion.

Bug fixes

• The Google Calendar logo now appears correctly in our Settings tab, in the External services page.

• We've fixed a bug where enabling our Shopify inventory integration after using Specific variants would keep specific variants available for other features, such as Product date restrictions. When you enable inventory, we will default the product availability feature to all products to avoid any potential issues.

• Previously, only the pickup date picker needed to be enabled to show the Daily inventory feature ⎯ it didn't work as expected with the delivery date picker enabled. Now, you need to have either pickup or delivery date pickers enabled to set up Daily inventory.

• Product variants are available on the Advanced plan and above.

• Multiple languages are now available on the Essential plan and above.

Padding issues in the Shopify mobile layout have been resolved. Everything should now feel a bit more compact and polished.

When making changes to a menu, sometimes the changes would not get applied. This has been fixed, and the menus now save as expected.

Some parts of the app weren’t being translated into French. This issue has now been resolved, and the app is fully available in French.

We’ve added new blocks to the dashboard that show which app widgets are active on your live theme, and let you easily enable any that are turned off.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Our app now supports two more Shopify themes out of the box: Heritage and Pitch.

• There was an issue with product availability where collections had to be removed and re-added to a location for new products to show up, and another where products deleted from a collection could still be purchased. Both issues have now been resolved—collections update properly, and removed products no longer appear at checkout.

• An issue in the checkout widget caused past delivery slots to appear, allowing orders for expired times. This has been fixed, and only valid delivery slots are now displayed.

• Our integration with the last-mile delivery partner Okrestro has been updated and improved for better performance.

• On stores with many product date restrictions, selecting multiple date-restricted products previously prevented page switching. This issue has now been fixed, and navigation works as expected.

Zapiet Eats

We’ve resolved an issue that was causing slow load times on the order dashboard, restaurant, and menu pages. Everything should now load quickly and work as expected.

We’ve fixed a UI issue where the required field asterisk (*) was incorrectly displayed across the app.

Zapiet - Product Rates

• We’ve resolved a syncing issue that caused new tags, product types, and vendors to not appear correctly when creating product groups. These options now sync properly and work as expected.
