Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• We’ve fixed an issue where blackout dates could incorrectly block checkout for products with valid product date restrictions when multiple restricted products were in the cart.

Zapiet - Product Options

• The dashboard graphs are now displaying data correctly, so you can accurately track order volume and revenue.

• The app block descriptions in Settings > Themes have been updated to improve clarity.

Zapiet Eats

• When reopening the widget after selecting a location, only the initial delivery map area loaded. Moving the location marker into a grey section of the map will now load that area.

• An issue where the restaurant list did not appear when assigning staff permissions to specific restaurants has been fixed.

• When switching from pickup to delivery, the map is now hidden until an address is entered, preventing a grey map from appearing.

• The Schedule order modal no longer gets stuck loading when editing a draft order.

New year, new features!

Improvements

• Location logs have landed! You can now review changes made to your locations, including who made each change and when. For more information, take a look at our Location logs article.

• Our updated dashboard is now visible on all stores! You can also hide the location insights metrics in Settings > Staff and permissions.

• You can now import and export custom-drawn delivery validation areas, pickup and delivery timeslots and blackout dates.

• Warnings have been added to the Rates tab when your rates don’t cover all price or weight ranges, making setup issues easier to spot.

Bug fixes

• The pagination limit set for the cart or checkout widget was also being applied to the product page widget. This has been fixed, and all eligible locations now show correctly.

• When conditional activation disabled a checkout method, an infinite loading icon appeared instead of an error message. The correct message now shows as expected.

• After cancelling the app charge in Shopify, it was not possible to resume the subscription in the app. This now correctly registers as a paused subscription and can be unpaused.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• On some pages, the top bar and navigation buttons didn’t align with the main container width. This has been adjusted so the UI is now consistent across the app.

• After selecting and removing product date restrictions, the number of selected products did not reset. This has been corrected, and the selected product count is now displayed accurately.

• Saving changes on the locations page without entering a company name previously triggered an error that was difficult to notice, as the page didn’t focus on the affected field. The page now automatically focuses on the exact area where the error occurs.

• An issue with the Shipday integration caused diacritic characters to be sent incorrectly, affecting distance calculations and navigation pins. This behavior has been corrected.

Zapiet Eats

• The dashboard has been completely redesigned and now includes a brand-new setup guide, tutorial and help article sections, expanded support options, and UI improvements for easier navigation.

• Spacing between page headings and primary action buttons has been adjusted, resulting in a more streamlined and consistent UI across the app.

• When installing or importing locations, the app previously created empty menus with matching names for each location. Menus are no longer created automatically, allowing merchants to create them manually during setup.

• An issue where the order search bar continuously reloaded while in use has been addressed, and the search now works as expected.

Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code

• The CSV import feature has been refined with visual improvements, and newly imported zones are now disabled by default until a Shopify shipping zone is selected.

• After creating a zone or rate, the sidebar navigation could become unresponsive. Navigation now remains fully functional after these actions.

• Several wording inconsistencies throughout the app have been corrected.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• When two rates are combined across different Shopify shipping profiles or locations, they are renamed “Shipping,” which caused checkout errors for merchants using Zapiet rates. This has been resolved, and customers can now check out with the combined rate without issues.

• Draft orders were still counted toward order limits after being paid and converted, causing the same order to be counted twice. Each order is now counted only once.

• We've fixed an issue preventing changes from being saved in the UniHop last-mile delivery settings.

• Edited email templates appeared to save correctly, but internal notifications continued to use the default version. This has now been fixed, and internal notifications will use your updated template.

• We’ve improved the UI so the Preselect first available time setting is hidden when the time picker is disabled.

Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code

• Previously, the app's navigation menu became unresponsive after creating and saving a new zone. This has now been fixed and the menu will work as expected.

• Some merchants experienced inconsistent rate loading during checkout, including missing rates or unfiltered rates appearing. These issues have now been resolved for more reliable rates.

Zapiet Eats

• You can now use your own Google Maps API key. You can add it by going to Settings > Widget settings and ticking Enable custom Google Maps key.

• If you would prefer to hide the Draft Orders tab, our support team can now enable this for you on request.

Zapiet - Product Options

• Previously, using special characters in an option name caused issues with the file upload field. This has been fixed and the file links now work as expected.

Improvements

• You can now create zones and rates via CSV import. For more information, check out our Managing zones using CSV guide.

• The dashboard has been updated to provide quick access to our most popular help guides, along with UI improvements for easier navigation.

• When reinstalling the app, you’ll now be prompted to confirm whether you want your rates enabled immediately, or to review your setup first.

• We’ve made several UI updates across the app, including switching currency codes to symbols, removing unnecessary pagination buttons, and centering action buttons.

• We recommend keeping zip code fields under 50,000 characters. A warning banner will now appear as you approach this limit, advising you to reconfigure your set up or contact support if additional options are needed.

Bug fixes

• Previously, opening the Plans and Pricing page with unsaved changes would lock the Save and Discard buttons. Any changes must now be saved before leaving the page.

• There was an unclear minimum character requirement when saving a zone name or eligible zip codes. This has been simplified, and now only one character is needed in each field to save.

• Subscription processing has been improved for greater stability and accuracy.

Improvements

• New in Zapiet Eats — find products faster and keep things organized by filtering today’s inventory using tags, making inventory management smoother.

• Customers are now able to select their preferred restaurant for local delivery directly from the widget when placing an order.

• Can’t find the correct restaurant in the dropdown? Use the new restaurant search feature and quickly locate the correct restaurant!

Bug fixes

• Menu preparation time wasn’t being enforced, allowing customers to select the earliest time slot regardless of the configured preparation time. This has been fixed, and preparation times now apply correctly.

• When “Select delivery location” and “Show apartment unit field for delivery” were enabled together, the apartment number wasn’t added to the order unless the widget was reopened and the information re-entered. This issue has been resolved.

• On stores with more than 10 restaurants, if you navigated to the next page, opened a restaurant, and then went back, the page always returned to the first one. This has been fixed, and the correct last-viewed page now opens as expected.

• The restrictions and allergens page experienced an issue where adding new restrictions and allergens wasn’t applied, while removing them caused the text not to be centered. All issues were successfully resolved.

• We corrected the wording and spelling in the descriptions on the Settings page to ensure they match the rest of the app.

• The Restrictions and allergens page had an issue where new items weren’t applied, and removing items caused the text to become misaligned. All issues have been resolved.

• In the POS app, the order search triggered after every character typed, and clearing the field didn’t refresh the results. Both issues have been resolved, and the search field now behaves as expected.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Product date restrictions by tag, which are used to hide specific dates, were not being applied in the checkout widget for the Shipping method. Our team has now patched the issue, and the feature is functioning correctly again.

• Previously, blackout dates were overriding product date restrictions set by tag. This issue has now been resolved, and blackout dates are no longer applied to products with date restrictions.

• We resolved an issue with the product widget where pickup and delivery days did not match the settings configured in the app, which resulted in incorrect information being shown.

Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code

We resolved a database issue that temporarily caused some stores’ rates to load slowly or time out. With the issue fixed, all systems are operating as expected.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• We’ve corrected an issue where widget selections restored from the ZapietID added the wrong date format to the order attributes.

• The checkout widget has been optimised when changing the delivery method to prevent any incorrect error messages.

• The UI for the Shopify POS "View order" tile has been updated to better support orders with partial fulfilment enabled.

• A bug preventing advanced postal code matching from working with daily inventory has been fixed. Both features now work together as expected, and daily product limits will be correctly applied.

• Placeholder field font sizes are now consistent across all settings within the Locations tab.

• We've resolved a race condition that caused validation issues when custom code hid the pre-selected delivery method.

Zapiet Eats

• The loading speed for the app settings has been improved.

• The search bar for restaurants in the Orders tab now shows the restaurants in alphabetical order.

• Previously, restaurants using delivery validation by custom drawn area were experiencing an issue where all addresses were showing as invalid. This has been fixed and custom drawn areas now validate as expected.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• An error preventing orders from being sent to Metrobi has been resolved, and all orders will now send correctly.

• There was an issue handling the " character in product titles when sending order information to our Last-mile delivery partners. We have now resolved this issue, and these products will be processed correctly.

• We've resolved an issue where the wrong error message was showing when a delivery customer was outside the maximum driving distance radius. The correct message now shows, preventing any confusion.

• The extra button that appeared when product availability was set to Specific variants has been removed.

• We are now compatible out of the box with the Rise theme.

• Interacting with the pickup map in the checkout widget previously caused the widget to disappear. Customers can now select new pickup locations without interruption.

• On Shopify POS for iOS, long delivery notes were being cut off. This has been fixed, and you can add as much information as needed to the note.

• The UI for the Shopify POS tiles has been updated for improved readability and a more intuitive experience.

Zapiet Eats

• Customers can now manually add Shopify discounts on the checkout page.

• Addresses over 22KM away were incorrectly showing as out of range, regardless of location settings. This has been fixed and you can set your maximum radius to any value.

• We’ve resolved an issue where deleting English and resetting translations prevented menu settings from loading.

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Our new dashboard is now available for everyone! If you aren't already using it, you'll see a blue banner in the app where you can try it out ahead of the full rollout in January. The updated dashboard includes location insights, widget overviews, and more.

• We are now compatible out of the box with the Vessel theme.

• The wording in the Product Delivery Info widget has been updated for improved clarity.

• Previously, the cart widget wouldn’t appear on Safari/iOS 26 across some themes. This has now been resolved, and it will appear on all devices and themes.

• We’ve fixed an issue where resetting email templates to the default version wasn’t working for email notifications.

• We’ve added weekly maintenance to remove old data and optimise widget loading.

• Previously, the next page in Settings > Staff permissions wouldn’t load when more than ten staff requests were present. This has now been fixed, and all requests can be viewed.
