Hi there,

Take a look at the updates we've prepared this week! 🤓 👇

We have:

  • Added the ability to enter the hex color code when editing the notification preferences in the settings.
  • Improved French translations.
  • Added logs to the Subscription page so you can view your usage charges easily.
  • Added support for importing locations with the "Specific collections" product availability setting. However, you will still need to add the collections within the location manually.

We have fixed the bugs:

  • Where one of the buttons to enable our rates wasn't working—you can now enable rates as expected.
  • With the duplicate "Save" button on the bottom of the page. You should only see the "Save" button on the top of the page now.
  • Where you were able to exceed your plan location limit by duplicating existing locations. You should now only be able to add the number of locations allowed in your plan. If you would like to add more locations than your plan allows, you will be charged $5/month per location.

Hi there,

Here are some exciting new improvements and bug fixes to help you make the best of our app! ✨

We have:

  • Added new articles next to the features within the app, so you can easily find answers to your questions!
  • Improved the error messages within locations.
  • Updated the way we add tags to orders, in order to avoid any tagging issues with other apps.
  • Improved the conditional activation wording, to clarify which values are included in the condition. “More than” includes the value you added and higher, and “Less than” includes only values below the one that you added.
  • Added a button to verify the Google Maps API key within pickup and delivery settings, so you can manually check if your previously added API key is valid.
  • Improved the welcome message in our chat widget when you complete the setup guide, so you could contact us more easily.

We have fixed the bugs:

  • Where the locations within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery weren't correctly synchronized with locations within the Last Mile Delivery carriers. This is now working as expected.
  • With emojis in delivery notes blocking the orders from being processed. We have now removed the ability to add emojis in the delivery note.
  • With pickup order limits, where you would see a delay in loading the date picker when the next 1-2 weeks were full (order limit was reached). You should now see no delay.
  • Where if you were using the product availability per collection and you added new items to the collection in Shopify, they wouldn't automatically update in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery. The products should now be automatically updated.
  • With links to products within location settings, where they would sometimes return an error. All product links should now open the product pages in your Online store.
  • Where the "Save" button within Last Mile Delivery settings would be clickable, even though no settings have been changed. The "Save" button will now only be clickable if you've changed a setting.
  • With the "Not covered ranges" warning for weight-based rates, which was showing even though the range was covered with existing rates. The warning should now show as expected.
  • Where if you had a product with date restrictions added to a location in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, deleting that product in Shopify caused an error. We now remove the missing product from product date restriction feature.
  • With the date format in product availability in Spanish, if you were using specific dates of the year availability setting. The dates are now showing in the correct format.
  • Where the delivery slot limit report wouldn't close after you clicked "View order" within the report order list. The report will now close automatically once you open the order.
  • With the date format in the orders page in Dutch—the date format is now showing as expected.
  • With the inconsistency in handling date availability for pickup and delivery when using specific dates of the year and product date restrictions. The dates added in date restrictions should be available, regardless of the specific dates of the year availability.

New Shopify POS integration

Hi there,

We've created brand new and improved Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery tiles for the new version of the Shopify POS! ✨🎉

You can now schedule and view your pickup, delivery and shipping orders on your Shopify POS more easily. When scheduling orders, you will be able to view the location settings in the date and time picker, and add the correct rates if you're delivering the order to your customer.

If you have used our legacy Shopify POS integration, please update your Shopify POS app version to get the newest features, and add the new Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery tiles.

Hi there,

Due to an upcoming training event for our support and development teams, we will have reduced live chat hours, and occasionally slightly longer than normal response times between Sunday 28th May through Sunday 4th June. We will still aim to respond to all requests in under 24 hours during this time, we just might not be our normal lighting fast selves answering in just a handful of minutes!

Hi there,

Due to updates to our fulfillment, Point of Sale and rates features, you will need to update and approve new permissions for Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.

The store owner will need to click "Update and approve permissions" button in the yellow banner on your dashboard, and then click "Update app".

Hi there,

We have been working hard to improve the app and fix the bugs—take a look at what we've been up to! 👇

We have:

  • Added support for connecting multiple Zapiet locations to one Shopify location when using the inventory integration.
  • Added support for connecting more than 20 locations when using the Shopify inventory integration.
  • Improved the feature view on the plans page, to clearly show which features are available on which plan.
  • Added the ability to select whether you want to have a preselected location for pickup (on the newest version of our widget).
  • Made the banner about the initial import on the inventory integration page dismissible—you can now click X to remove it.

We have fixed the bugs:

  • Where the months within the blackout dates feature were showing in the browser language instead of the app language.
  • With exporting orders, where all orders were exported instead of the one that was selected. Exporting orders is now working as expected.
  • Where the status change buttons in a single order view weren't showing in a single line. The buttons are now showing as expected.
  • With importing locations from Shopify when you first install our app. Previously, if you had more locations in Shopify than in the plan you selected with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, we would import all of your Shopify locations. Now, we will import only the number of locations allowed in your plan.
  • Where the checkout button would get locked if you clicked it after selecting all the details in the widget. This is now working as expected.
  • With Recharge logs when using our date incrementation feature. Logs should now be working as expected.
  • Where you were able to delete your default language within the app. We now hide the delete option for the default language.
  • Under Rates > Advanced carriers, where the "Save" button was greyed out if you pasted the API key instead of typing it. The "Save" button is now clickable when you paste the API key.
  • With the message to remind you to create shipping rates. It is now dismissible, and will only show if you don't have any rates or carriers added.
  • Where the publish date for changelog updates wasn’t translated.
  • With pickup limit reports not showing the time selector. You should now be able to select the date and time in pickup limit reports if you offer time slot limits.
  • Where the pickup preparation time per minute wasn't working correctly if the pickup order limits by time slot were enabled.
  • With product availability, where if you had specific products added, and wanted to switch to specific collections, an error would show. You can now switch between product availability methods as expected.
  • Where disconnecting and connecting the inventory integration would cause an error. This is now working as expected.
  • With the chat widget appearing when editing the order details. Now, It should only appear in the main screen.
  • Where Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery intermittently wasn’t opening on the Shopify mobile app for some merchants. This should now work as expected.
  • With Italian translations within the app admin pages.
  • Where delivery slot reports weren't opening when delivery slots are different each day of the week. Delivery slot reports should now load as expected.
  • With Shopify inventory integration, where orders were not automatically fulfilling for some users. Orders should now be fulfilling as expected.
  • Where if you had delivery availability set to specific dates of the year that weren't included in your product date restriction rules, the date restricted products would not be available. Now, date restricted products will be available on selected dates regardless of the specific dates of the year setting.

We have added bug fixes and performance improvements to make sure your experience with our app is even more efficient and enjoyable! ✨

We have:

  • Changed the app embed name from "Store Pickup + Delivery" to "Cart widget".
  • Fixed the bug where the delivery validation autosuggest wasn't always working correctly. Google autosuggest should now work as expected in our cart widget.
  • Improved the performance of pickup locations for merchants not using specific collections or products.
  • Improved inventory performance in order to support more locations and variants.

Hi there,

We have added new improvements and bug fixes to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery! 🎉

We have:

  • Added the ability to dismiss the "Action Required for digital products" message in the dashboard.
  • Improved the wording and spacing in the "Delete locations" modal.
  • Added links to the products within the location so you can test the settings more easily.
  • Improved the way of adding and editing the blackout dates. They will now be grouped by month so you can manage them more easily.
  • Started automatically subscribing new merchants who approve email contact to our SorryApp status page updates, in order to improve communication when downtime or issues occur.
  • Added the note to the Shopify inventory integration settings to make it clearer that only one location in Zapiet can be connected to the one location in Shopify.
  • Removed the "Disable" button on the top of the Last Mile Delivery integrations—you can now disable the integration at the bottom of the page, by clicking the red "Disable" button.
  • Improved the "More information" field within the location as it now supports HTML.
  • Added a message to remind you to create shipping rates if you have the shipping method enabled.
  • Improved the wording on the "Google maps API key required" modal in the setup guide.
  • Added the ability to print orders with Orderly Print and Order Printer Pro, directly from the order view.
  • Improved notification templates.

We have fixed the bugs:

  • Where the checkbox for the order total was showing in a separate row in the Google calendar integration. This is now working as expected.
  • On the plans page, where the translations were missing for additional charges. You should now be able to view additional charges per locations and per orders.
  • Where the changelog updates were not showing on all of our supported languages. Updates should be showing in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
  • With date restricted products, where no dates were visible when editing existing dates. Now, you should be able to edit existing dates as expected.
  • Where the link to open Google Maps within an order wasn't working correctly on iOS devices. This is now working as expected.
  • With the "Override longer preparation time" setting for delivery—this setting is now working as expected.
  • Where the locations weren't showing correctly in the widget when you would disconnect the inventory integration. All locations in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery should now show instantly when you disable the inventory integration.
  • In the product availability section in your locations, the products you've already added would show in the list to be added again. We will now show only products that you haven't added to the "Specific products" list already.
  • Where the “Automatically fulfill new orders” setting would be disabled if you disconnected and re-connected the inventory. Now, the settings we'll be properly saved for the next time you enable inventory.
  • With Roadie and Axlehire settings not loading correctly within the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery admin. Settings are loading correctly now.
  • Where updating the status for selected orders caused a blank order page. Updating order statuses is now working as expected.

We have made improvements to:

  • The Recharge subscriptions integration

We have fixed the bugs:

  • Where the previously deleted orders in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery couldn't be opened through Shopify > Orders > More actions > Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery. You should now be able to re-open previously deleted orders through the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery function in Shopify, and they will appear in our dashboard.
  • With integrating carriers in the Rates section of Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery. You can now integrate other carriers as expected.
