Improvements

  • You can now set shared limits across groups of related products. Groups can be based on Shopify collections, products, variants, tags, vendors or product types, with new matching products added automatically. Learn more in our Product group limits guide.
  • You can now pause your Zapiet Eats subscription instead of uninstalling the app. While paused, billing stops and your ordering page, widget and POS ordering are switched off. When you're ready, resume and everything picks up where you left off, with your locations, menus and settings intact.
  • Shopify POS now includes a Board view in the Zapiet Eats Orders tile, where staff can track today's orders by status, update them with a single button and switch between days. Changes sync with the desktop board, and each device remembers its last-used view.
  • Your ordering page now displays your dine-in service fee in the top bar, using your configured percentage or fixed fee. Once items are added, the exact fee appears as a separate line in the cart so customers can see the cost before checkout.
  • Inviting staff now selects all permissions and locations by default, so you can untick any access you don't want to grant. The new All permissions checkbox lets you select or clear all permissions at once, making access easier to manage.
  • When a store has only one location, the Change button next to the location address is now hidden on the ordering page.
  • Borders on the ordering page now match your theme's colours, helping boxes, dividers and search fields blend seamlessly into all themes.
  • AI agents connected through Settings > API and MCP can now check product date restrictions for a location’s menu, including product availability by date and order method for pickup, delivery and dine-in.
  • We’ve updated the Locations and Menus pages, along with several settings pages, to match the latest Shopify admin design.
  • We've also made smaller layout updates across the app, including a more compact location picker on the Orders page and a consistent logo on empty reports.

Bug fixes

  • Bundle prices no longer reset to $0 after saving. Previously, a delayed update from Shopify could overwrite the price you'd entered. If any of your bundles currently show $0, re-enter the price and save to fix them.
  • On the Dine-in tab of a menu's product date restrictions, each product now shows a clear sentence saying whether it's available or unavailable on the listed dates. Editing a restriction now loads its saved dates and availability settings, preventing them from being accidentally replaced with blank values.
  • Entering more than 500 dine-in tables now displays a clear error message: "The maximum number of tables is 500", instead of leaving the Save button inactive without explanation.
  • The Reservation review request email badge now displays the correct status and can be enabled or disabled in Settings > Notifications > Reservations.
  • Delivery addresses that only name a town or city, rather than a street or building, can no longer reach checkout on the legacy widget. Customers using "Use my current location" or dragging the map pin are now asked for a more specific address, helping make sure every delivery order has the correct address.
  • The View order page link in the setup guide now opens the step where customers choose how they'd like to order, rather than going straight to the pickup menu.
  • Uploading a location CSV now only processes the rows in that file. Previously, rows from your earlier imports could be processed again, creating duplicate locations.
  • The delay when loading the plans page after installing Zapiet Eats has been fixed, so plan details are available sooner.
