Week 41 • New cart widget design, improved error messages and general bug fixes

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• The cart widget has been redesigned for a more modern look, and new customisable options. Existing stores can switch to it from the dashboard banner or the Appearance page and can switch back at any time. Learn more in our Customizing the cart widget guide.

• Error messages throughout the app now appear next to the field they relate to and stay visible until they've been acknowledged.

• When a store reaches its location limit, the monthly spending limit pop-up didn't offer a way to raise the limit if it was met. You can now enter a new limit and select Update to approve it in Shopify.

• A warning banner now appears in the Product date restrictions card when all availability dates for a product, tag, or collection have passed. The banner lists the affected items and their last available dates, making it easier to review and update the restrictions.

• When no discount code is configured in the app, the discount field is removed from the URL to prevent an "Enter a valid discount code" error at checkout.

• You can now have cart value rules in conditional activation use the cart total after discounts, so a discount that takes an order below your minimum hides the method as expected. If you'd like this enabled on your store, please contact our support team on chat.

Zapiet Eats

• You can now close a restaurant for the day or close individual order methods, including pickup, delivery, dine-in, and reservations, from the Orders page. Customers see a Currently closed badge on closed locations, and if you accept future orders, only today is blocked so customers can still order ahead.

• Confirmed reservations now sync reliably with connected Google Calendars. Upcoming reservations that were previously missing have also been added automatically.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• The Set on map button is now always available on the location address card, allowing you to check and adjust the map pin for any location.
