A new setting keeps the Add to cart button locked until product availability has fully loaded, preventing method or date restricted items from being added to the cart when using a slower internet connection. You can enable this in Settings > Widget Settings > Lock add to cart until availability is confirmed.
The app homepage now shows whether your theme app block and app embed are active, making it easier to check your setup and enable or preview the widgets.

Invalid fields in the app now show clear, specific error messages, instead of a general alert or a disabled button.
Errors now appear once you leave a field or save, rather than while you're still typing. When you save, every field that needs fixing is highlighted and the page scrolls to the first one.
Error messages now stay on screen until you dismiss them, making it easier to see what needs to be corrected.
Shopify's save bar now appears when creating product options and when bulk editing a menu, for a more consistent editing experience.
If you have unsaved changes, you'll now be asked to save or discard them before leaving the page, so no edits are lost by accident.
The parent item in the app navigation now stays highlighted while you're on one of its sub-pages.
Page layouts and spacing have been updated to match the Shopify admin for a cleaner and more consistent experience.

We've made a number of security improvements across the app, Shopify POS and the storefront to help keep your store data protected.
Bug fixes
Customers can no longer place dine-in orders outside menu hours. Menus outside their opening hours are now greyed out, and stores with a single menu show a message letting customers know orders aren't being accepted.
When order notes are set as required, customers now have to add a note before checking out, even if the order notes field is collapsed by default. Previously, a collapsed field could be skipped.
Table numbers now appear on dine-in orders in Shopify POS.
Choosing Zapiet Eats from Discounts > Create discount in your Shopify admin now opens the Zapiet Eats discount creation page.
The setup guide now creates your menu correctly when you choose a coffee shop or café and use your existing products.
The postal code field no longer shows an error when adding a location in countries where post codes are optional.
