Week 38 • Mobile improvements, mixed menu ordering, and general bug fixes

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Action buttons such as Save, Cancel, and Export now appear directly when using the Shopify mobile app, instead of being hidden behind the action menu.

• Sidekick can now use our help documentation when answering questions, giving more accurate guidance and pointing you to the right support guides.

• We've added more default values in the initial setup guide to help new merchants get set up faster, and the review page spacing has been updated to make the configured settings easier to review.

Zapiet Eats

• A new setting lets customers order from two menus at the same time when the menus share the same schedule, so a store with separate menus no longer has to combine them or make customers check out twice. You can enable this in Settings > Ordering page > Allow mixed menu ordering.

• When Allow mixed menu ordering is disabled, a confirmation now appears when a customer switches menus with items already in their cart, before the cart is cleared. The wording of this message can be customised in Settings > Text and Design.

Zapiet - Rates by Zipcode

• The price-based and weight-based rate sections are now expanded by default when creating a location, and their expanded or collapsed state is retained between visits.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• The Create and edit location page has been redesigned to make adding the address easier, including a map you can use to drop a pin and set exact coordinates when an address cannot be located automatically.

Zapiet - Product Options

• Creating a new option from Settings > Options list now opens the create option page correctly, fixing an issue where a blank screen could appear instead.
