Week 37 • Order metafields, credit balance email alerts, and general bug fixes

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• If you use our checkout widget, the Zapiet order details are now saved to your orders as order metafields, alongside the existing order attributes. You can also switch to a metafields-only mode for faster widget loading. • You can now receive email alerts when your account credit runs low, with a customisable balance threshold and up to five additional recipients. Follow-up reminders and a service-paused notice are also sent if the balance continues to fall.

• The initial setup guide and dashboard have been refreshed with a more readable layout and clearer wording, providing a smoother onboarding experience for new merchants.

• On the Horizon theme, the checkout button in the cart drawer now takes customers to the cart page, where they can choose pickup or delivery, rather than sending them straight to checkout.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• The setup guide has been updated with a streamlined sequence of steps, with Test rates as the final step.

Zapiet - Product Rates

• During install, the dashboard and navigation no longer appear before a plan has been selected. You now see only the plan selection screen until a plan is chosen, and a button that previously displayed a missing translation label now shows its proper text.

Zapiet - Product Options

• New installs no longer load both the old and new versions of the widget in the theme, so only the current version is shown on the storefront.
