Improvements
- A new reservation alert has been added to the Orders dashboard. Teams with access to both orders and reservations are now notified with a pop-up and a sound the moment a new reservation comes in, so nothing is missed.
- Reservation emails have been redesigned to match our other templates, now displaying your logo with clean, consistent formatting across every reservation notification.
- The Disable automatic modal popup setting, along with the pick-up, delivery, and dine-in top bar button labels, is now available on all stores in Settings > Widget settings.
- German, Spanish, and French date, time, and translations have been audited and improved, so dates follow each language's local format with a 24-hour clock and customer-facing text is fully translated.
- Sidekick can now use our Zapiet Eats help documentation when answering questions, giving more accurate guidance and pointing you to the right support guides.
- You can now show the menu name independently for pickup and delivery, giving you more control over exactly what customers see for each method. This is not recommended when offering more than one menu.
If you'd like this enabled on your store, please contact our support team on chat.
Bug fixes
- The wording in the new install setup guide has been updated, keeping the Preview your storefront step accurate.
- Your widget now displays in Spanish when Spanish is the store's published language, instead of falling back to English.
- You can now return to the main settings page from the ordering page settings using the back button or breadcrumbs, fixing an issue that previously kept you on the page.
- Reservations now display in your store's chosen time format on the Reservations page, respecting a 24-hour clock instead of always showing 12-hour times.
