MCP connections, restricted Google Map API keys, and general bug fixes

Improvements

• You can now connect your AI agents directly to your Zapiet Eats account. Find the instructions in Settings > API and MCP for the AI agents we integrate with.

• We've added support for Shopify's App Bridge Contextual Save Bar on the delivery zone page. You’ll now see a reminder if you try to leave with unsaved changes.

• The UI of the menu selector on the Ordering page has been updated to make menu switching clearer.

• An additional restricted Google Maps API key can now be added on your storefront to prevent unauthorised use. This can be managed in Settings > Widget settings > Manage Google Maps API key.

• Customers now see a thank you message after submitting feedback via the feedback widget.

• When the automatic modal pop-up is disabled, the button used to open the Zapiet Eats widget can now be renamed.

Bug fixes

• An authentication error when connecting MCP to ChatGPT has been fixed.

• The correct text now shows when deleting all restaurants.

• Text updates on the Ordering page now display as expected.

• An issue on the Ordering page causing a delivery address modal loop for countries without postal codes has been resolved.

• The Ordering page now correctly validates multiple delivery zones.

• Switching between 12-hour and 24-hour formats now reflects in the app settings.

• The Ordering page setting "Allow pickup without an address" is incompatible with the pickup setting "Enable maximum radius". When one setting is enabled, the other is now hidden to prevent conflicts.

• Using the restaurant filter on the Ordering page no longer triggers an error message.

• An additional app tile previously visible in Shopify POS has been removed to prevent confusion.

• Address validation can no longer be bypassed when placing a delivery order on the Ordering page.

• Products unavailable in Today’s menu are now clearly indicated to prevent customers adding out-of-stock items to the cart.

• When adding menus to a restaurant, the first menu is no longer pre-selected.

• We've removed duplicate buttons when responding to permission requests.
