Improvements
- The Order Status widget and Customer Review widget have been optimised to load faster.
- Draft orders can now be scheduled directly in the Shopify admin, without needing to open the Eats app.
- You can now create restaurant-specific discount codes and schedule them to be available on selected dates.
- We've added a new setting that allows you to disable the widget modal from automatically opening when the page loads.
- The widget has been updated so clicking anywhere in the date or time field will open the calendar, rather than only the calendar icon.
- The delivery location list on mobile has been improved to better support restaurants with long names.
- Additional accessibility labels have been added in Settings > Text and Design to improve accessibility support.
Bug fixes
- In Settings > Product Options, only missing option values are now highlighted when saving.
- An error will now appear if a product option is configured with a minimum value higher than the maximum.
- We've improved the bundles UI within menus. Changes to bundles and menus now appear immediately without needing to refresh the page, and the edit modal closes automatically after saving.
- Future order restrictions were previously displaying one unit lower than the configured value, e.g. entering 2 months would show 1 month in the calendar. This has now been fixed.
- The order search bar previously refreshed after each character was typed. You can now enter order numbers without interruption.
- If validation errors appeared when creating a new restaurant, closing and reopening the modal did not clear the messages. The modal now resets correctly.
- Past dates now cannot be selected for blackout dates or product date restrictions.
- After selecting pickup in the widget, delivery wording would show at the top of the modal. This has been fixed and the wording now reflects the selected option.
- The customer phone number country selection will now remain unchanged if you leave and return to the customer information page.
- Blackout dates are now applied correctly regardless of timezone.
- When many blackout dates were configured, the widget could preselect a date that was still blacked out. The earliest available date is now correctly selected.
