Week 9 • Widget and API updates, improved UI, and general bug fixes

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery

• Merchants using legacy version 1 of the widget will now see a banner to update to the latest version. If you do not update before March 2nd, your widget will be automatically updated.

• The app is now fully compatible with Shopify’s latest delivery profile APIs for managing shipping rates.

• We’ve fixed an issue where the checkout button could still be bypassed when product quantities were changed in the cart, even with Block the checkout button until the widget has loaded enabled. The checkout button now remains locked until the widget has fully loaded.

• The UI of our email templates has been updated for a cleaner look across all devices.

• We’ve fixed an issue where editing orders in Shopify POS could trigger an error message after saving changes.

Zapiet Eats

• We’ve added clearer placeholder text to the pickup and delivery tag time format setting.

• Past dates can no longer be added to blackout dates.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance

• The Plans page UI has been updated for a cleaner and more user-friendly look.

Zapiet - Rates by Zipcode

• The app is now fully compatible with Shopify’s latest delivery profile APIs for managing shipping rates.

• Personalised time-based greeting messages have been added to the dashboard.

Zapiet - Product Rates

• An issue where default products could display rates from other groups when no default rate was configured has been fixed. Products without a default rate will no longer show unintended rates.
